I've always been curious about Sonya's Garden since most of my friends from Manila have been there. I told myself that I should go there soon. Its weird pa nga since the place is just near. Its just a 20 minute drive form our house in Indang. And we always attend mass at Lourdes Tagaytay. One Fine Sunday..we decided to go to Monte Maria, We attended Healing Mass headed by Fr.Suarez. (I’ll write about the Monte Maria soon) We had the opportunity to visit Sonya's Garden.
The place is quite far from the usual Tagaytay places , Sonyas Garden is located at Buck Estate Alfonso Cavite.(near the vicinity of Tagaytay City) i was really surprised, The place is really nice!!
We tried the buffet that costs PhP 610 per head. (Eat all you can)
my first reaction was , Oh my Gulay!! my hubby said kaya nga Garden e..kase they served salad, (oo nga naman) im not a veggie person kase ..but..we tried the set meal.
the set meal includes ;
Salad Greens- lettuce and arugula topped with mango, broad beans, eggs, cucumber, jackfruit, pineapple, edible flowers in season, etc., drizzled with Sonya’s Secret Dressing or Balsamic Vinegar/extra virgin olive oil.
Fresh baked whole wheat sesame bread with an array of homemade dips and toppings: basil pesto, white cheese, anchovies, bruschetta tomato toppings. mushroom pate, black olive tapinade and fresh green peppercorn in olive oil.
Pasta- With two kinds of sauces and toppings: sun dried tomato and chicken cream with mango. Topped with ratatouille, salmon belly, shitake mushrooms, black olives, capers and grated parmesan cheese, pepperoncini.
Dessert-
Glazed sweet potato , banana rolls with sesame & jackfruit, and smashingly sinful homemade chocolate cake from the Panaderia (enjoy with mint leaves).
Drinks- Bottomless freshly squeezed dalandan juice (green mandarin) and tarragon tea
We enjoyed the food and the ambiance.. and of course ang pose dito pose duon signature..
I highly recommend Sonya's Garden to my friends..You will surely love the place!
I hope next time I'd get the chance to spend a night at Sonya's Garden and try out the spa and bring my family there.
